THE UK's most successful personalised school uniform manufacturer has appointed SAP
Business One Gold Partner Codestone to overhaul and manage its entire Information
Technology applications and infrastructure.

Rowlinson Knitwear, which supplies the independent Schoolwear sector with millions
of garments per year, many of them embroidered, required a superior business
management system and IT Infrastructure to support its growing business.

Working in conjunction with external consultants, Rowlinson identified the need to
replace its existing UNIX based application in order to help streamline internal
business processes and improve working practices. Lack of integrated functionality
for CRM, Material Planning and Bills of Material coupled with the need to accelerate
decision making from a single business platform were identified as the main
objectives for the new system to deliver.

Codestone's experts will implement SAP Business One, which features integrated
accounting, logistic and customer relationship management (CRM) to give a single
view of the entire business and help staff manage logistics, purchasing and sales.

The solution will enable Rowlinson to better manage the "style, size, colour" item
matrix requirement that is so often the missing ingredient for apparel
manufacturers. Also, with the help of TaskCentre for SAP Business One, Rowlinson
will have the ability to automate time consuming manual tasks - freeing staff up to
focus on driving the business forward.

Codestone is also hosting and managing Rowlinson's entire IT infrastructure from an
external data centre - monitoring and solving any potential problems before they
arise and ensuring efficiency throughout the whole system.
